So in my oninion this says a lot, as the siffness of the fork exceeded the grip and control offered by the tire. I didn't feel it coming at all, and the fork still felt solid right upto the point when the front just disapeared. but it was not from the fork flexing on me, instead it was the tire that folded and shot out from under me with no warning. Reason for my crash was loosing the front wheel in the off camber G-out at the bottom. I had a big crash (dislocated my shoulder) on sunday after riding a pretty long and sketching rock roll / cliff line. I think If I were to do more freeride stuff the lesser stiffness would definately start to show compared to the more substantial 36, but for all mountain and trail riding, this fork is as stiff as it has to be. And although not quite as stiff as a fox 36, I have to say that on the trail this isn't very noticable. It is WAY stiffer than the reba with 130mm travel. I've ridden a lot of forks, but none can quite be compared directly to this. 150mm trail forks with 32mm stanchions hardly screams stiffness, but I have been very pleasantly suprised. I wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered these forks. I went for 20mm version for stiffness, and I have to say that I have been very impressed. I know I have been doing some unfreindly DH lines on mine that were far more suited to an 8' triple clamp fork. This works just like pervious years with nice positive clicks for every mm or so.ДЄlthough rockshox call the revelation a trail fork, I think it could quite happily cope with most all mountain riding. My fork is a team air u-turn wich has simple and effective U-turn travel adjustment between 120-150mm. The total weight for my forks with uncut stearer was 4.06lbs, so really very light weight for the travel. The lowers have the power buldge to allow larger diameter bushings, which should take load better and last longer.

I may follow up later after a few months riding. Well, I haven't had a massive amount of time on this fork, but have ridden it enough over varied terrain to give my initial impressions.
